Great Video: Dilbert: New Product Line

“Those slides were nothing, but a bunch of garbage dressed up to look good.” Although, Dilbert is being humorous, some companies actually present their products in this way and as a result, their new product lines reflect this. Product management is much more than taking garbage and making it look good.

It involves an understanding of what the customers want, strategy and brainstorming sessions, market research, feedback and proper implementation. This is part of the process to ensure that a new product line is popular and successful.
