My name is Mark Silver and I work as a Product Manager at San Francisco-based WalkMe (www.walkme.com).
I’ve always been fascinated by the constant struggle between technology evolving to become ever more capable, comprehensive and vast, while at the same time trying to find a way to simplify that technology – in my case online software – in order to make it digestible so that it will limit user confusion and frustration.
At the same time, we live in a world characterized by speed, speed and more speed. Software – and the product managers who help oversee its delivery – has become more “agile”, with the constant need to adapt and react to customer feedback and market needs.
I established the SpecTechUlar blog to help make sense of all this. To create a source not just for my own thoughts on product management issues, but one which I hope will encourage and foster a discussion and interaction between anyone interested in product management. The goal of the blog is not to one-directionally publish information, but to create a full engagement between many voices, so that we can all learn from each other.
I invite you to join us as a guest blogger and engage listeners with your inspiring articles. If you are interested in contributing, feel free to email me directly or follow the blog at @SSpectechular. You can also like us on Facebook, connect with me on LinkedIn or follow the blog on Google+.
